Nollywood actress and producer, Bimbo Oshin, clocked 46 on Monday.
The Philosophy graduate of the University of Lagos released some pictures social media to celebrate what she called “happy royal birthday”.
Her are eight things to know about the Omo Elemosho star.
- Bimbola Oshin-Ibironke was born on July 24, 1971 in Ondo Town, Ondo State as the second to the last child of the late Pa Olasanmi Theophilus Oshin.
- She attended the University of Lagos where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy.
- Began acting in 1996 and came into limelight with the movie Akobi.
- Besides acting, she has produced movies including Eji Owuro, Owu Iya and Temi Yemi.
- After dating for three years, she married to CEO of Dudu Heritage, Ola Ibironke, with whom she has two children.
- To reward her hard work in Nollywood, she was nominated twice in 2014 for the Best Actress in Leading Role at the Yoruba Movies Academy Awards and also Best Actress of the Year (Yoruba) at the City People Entertainment Awards.
- In 2016, she was honoured with an Icon Category Award at the 2016 Afro-Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment and Awards.
- Her beauty routine includes drinking two glasses of water and four spoons of pure honey daily.
