  1. Record goals scored in the Nigerian league

At age 17, Musa achieved an unbelievable feat in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in 2009. The forward grabbed 18 goals which made him the record goalscorer in the Nigerian topflight. This record, however, has since been smashed twice – first by Jude Aneke in 2011, then Mfon Udoh in 2014.

Nigerian legends such as Rashidi Yekini, Kanu Nwankwo and Austin Okocha all featured at the FIFA World Cup but none was able to score a brace at the Mundial. However, Musa dramatically accomplished this in the 3-2 defeat to Argentina in 2014.

While at CSKA, Musa clinched the Russian Premier League thrice. This was in 2013, 2014 and 2016 before his move to England.

  1. Ranked 18th fastest footballer in the world

Musa is the 18th fastest footballer in the world according to a rating released by EA Sports for its latest edition of FIFA 17. The winger boasts an unbelievable 93 pace and an overall rating of 78.
