Actor Zubby Michael has celebrated a new milestone for Call of My Life after the film crossed the N500 million mark at the West African box office.

Zubby shared the achievement on Instagram on Saturday, posting a promotional poster announcing the movie’s latest earnings.

The poster read: “₦524M HIGHEST-GROSSING FILM OF THE WEEKEND FOR FOUR CONSECUTIVE WEEKS Call of My Life STILL SHOWING IN CINEMAS NATIONWIDE”.

Reacting to the development, Zubby wrote: “#ZM #A1 #doings #Nawedeyhere #blessup”.

The romance drama has enjoyed a strong run since its release on May 15. It opened with N78.2 million during its debut weekend and outperformed several competing titles, including Ajosepo: The Gathering and the Hollywood release Michael.

Directed by Dammy Twitch in his feature film debut and produced by Blessing Uzzi under Bluhouse Studios, Call of My Life follows Soluchi, played by Uzo Amaka, as she attempts to rebuild her life after a painful breakup with Kalu, portrayed by Zubby Michael. A work related phone call later introduces her to Eli, played by Andrew Yaw Bunting.

The screenplay was written by Uzo Amaka, who also stars in the lead role. The cast also includes Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Beverly Osu, Broda Shaggi and Justin UG.

Before reaching the latest milestone, Call of My Life had already become the highest grossing romance film of 2026 and the first Nollywood title to record a 20 per cent weekend on weekend increase at the box office.

The film has continued to set records throughout its cinema run. Earlier this week, it was reported to have grossed N498 million, making it the highest grossing Nollywood film released in 2026 so far and placing it among the top 10 highest grossing Nollywood films of all time.

Its latest N524 million haul further extends its record as the highest grossing romance film of the year and strengthens its position as one of Nollywood’s biggest box office successes in recent years.
