Zack Orji returns home after post-surgery assessment in UK

Actor Zack Orji has returned home after his post-surgery assessment in the United Kingdom.

His colleague Emma Ehumadu aka Labista disclosed this in an Instagram post on Thursday In which he debunked a rumour that the actor had fallen ill again.

“Let’s pray for Zack pls, heard his in India fighting for his life,” an Instagram user name Chioma wrote in the comment section of Emma’s post.

But Emma revealed that Zack is back in Nigeria and he is well.

He wrote: “@chioma_richeal1 you heard wrong.. Zack is well and in Nigeria.”

In a recent interview with Channels Television, Zack Orji said he was unconscious for five hours before Emma Ehumadu and another actor named Benedict Johnson rushed to to the National Hospital in Abuja.

The Blood Money actor also said he had amnesia before undergoing two brain surgeries.

“I can only say that it’s by the grace of God that I’m alive today because passed out. I was out for like five and a half hours before help came” he recalled.

He said the first brain surgery was performed on January 1 but a month later, after scans revealed a residual blood clot, he underwent a second surgery.

Zack, 64, slumped on December 29 2023 and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the National Hospital in Abuja, before he was transferred to a private hospital for surgery.

After his recovery in Nigeria, Zack was advised to seek post-surgery assessment in the UK, where he consulted with Dr. John Yeh.
