Actor Jimmy Odukoya has consoled his colleague and friend Deyemi Okanlawon who lost in the best actor category at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Deyemi who was nominated alongside Broda Shaggi, Femi Adebayo, Gideon Okeke, Williams Uchemba, Timini Egbuson and Shawn Faqua lost to Broda Shaggi.
Consoling him over the loss on Instagram on Saturday, Jimmy Odukoya pointed out that Deyemi holds the record of two time highest grossing actor in Nollywood and he is the face Netflix and Ebony Life, adding that his friend will always be a winner.
“We didn’t take it home today guys, so we try again tomorrow plus we fine die,” Deyemi wrote.
“Still the 2 time back to back HIGHEST GROSSING ACTOR IN NOLLYWOOD. Face of Netflix and Ebony Life. A winner any day,” Jimmy replied him.
