You did nothing wrong meeting with Osinbajo, Aisha Yesufu tells Taaooma

Rights activist Aisha Yesufu has told skit maker Taaooma that the latter did nothing wrong in meeting with vice president Yemi Osinbajo.

Yesufu made this known in a Twitter post on Friday after Taaooma apologised for meeting with the vice president.

Reacting to Taaooma’s apology, Aisha stated that what matters most is the skit maker’s intentions and not what people think.

Her tweet read: “Dear Taaooma, you do not need to apologise to anyone! You did not do anything wrong by having a meeting with the VP.

“There are different ways of achieving something. It is never one way and it is okay whatever way one chooses.
Intentions are what count and you know yours!

“Remember the Prophet (SAW) said actions are judged according to intentions and that is all that matters. Your intentions are what should matter to you. What people think or say must never matter. What we feel alone with our thoughts is what should matter the most.”

On Wednesday, skit makers Woli Agba, Taaooma, Josh2funny, Yemi Elosho and Mr Hyenana among other visited vice president Yemi Osinbajo.

Their visit however sparked reactions from some Nigerians who claimed that the purpose of the meeting was to serve their ‘selfish’ interest and not the public.
