Pastor Yemisi Ashimolowo has penned a note on Instagram in celebration of her husband Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo who turned 72 on Sunday.
“Happy birthday to my ever young and handsome husband @ 72!” She wrote.
“I thank God for your life’s journey so far and what a joy it is doing life with you. You have been a loving and caring husband, father and grand father and we are grateful for the gift of YOU! You’re simply the best!
“I pray that as you continue to aspire to greater things, you will experience more divine open doors in Jesus Name. I love and celebrate you today and always!”
Ashimolowo’s church, Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), also celebrated him on Instagram.
Pastor Ashimolowo celebrates wife’s birthday
The church prayed for “grace and vigour” among other things for its founding pastor.
“Today, our Senior Pastor and Global President is 72 years young! KICC Ministry Globally is blessed by your phenomenal leadership and trailblazing vision,” the post read.
“It is a privilege to celebrate and honour you as our father. We declare more grace and vigour upon your life.
“We pray for you to continue to conquer mountains for the advancement of God’s kingdom! May you continue to prosper, be in good health and do greater exploits that will transcend generations. We love and appreciate you!”
In August 2023, Ashimolowo and his wife clocked 42 years in marriage. They are blessed with children and grandchildren.
