Yemi Alade, Ed Sheeran argue over Ghanaian, Nigerian jollof

British singer Ed Sheeran has said that even though he has not eaten Nigerian jollof, he still prefers Ghanaian jollof.

The 30-year-old said this to Nigerian singer Yemi Alade at the Earth Shot Prize Award in London, organised by Prince Williams.

In a video, Yemi shared on Instagram on Sunday night both singers playfully argued over their preferences; while Yemi tried to convince the British singer that Nigerian jollof tastes better, Ed Sheeran insisted that he preferred Ghanaian jollof.

“I think I prefer Ghanian jollof, I havent been to Nigeria,” Ed Sheeran said in the video.

“So @teddysphotos (Ed Sheeraan) Started arguing about Ghanaian and Nigerian jollof (he hasn’t eaten Nigerian jollof yet oo ,the battle hasn’t been won),” Yemi wrote.
