To celebrate Yvonne Okoro’s birthday, we have named her our woman crush this Wednesday.

The actress was born Chinyere Yvonne Okoro to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother on November 25 of an undisclosed year.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ghana before proceeding to University De-Nantes in France to study Press Civilization, Drama and Marketing.

In 2002, she made her screen debut in Sticking to the Promise, a movie produced by the Nigerian producer, Theo Akatugba, just after her high school education.

She has featured in over 20 Nigerian and Ghanaian movies including Beyonce, The Game and Royal Battle.

The screen diva has also acted alongside actors like, Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo, Yvonne Nelson and Majid Michel.

Yvonne who is often referred to as one of the top actresses in Ghana has received various awards including the 2010 Ghana Movie Awards for Best Actress and 2012 Africa Movie Academy Awards for Best Actress.

Her age remains a mystery.
