A woman was over the weekend caught trying to steal from the Abuja fashion store owned by Kiki Osinbajo daughter of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Ms Osinbajo took to Instagram to share the incident with her followers. She shared videos recorded by security cameras.

“Business owners be very careful and stay alert! There was a client who walked into the store yesterday (Friday) and stole money from a purse of another client. She walked in, spotted the bag and immediately covered it to steal,” she wrote on Instastories.

In one of the videos, the unidentified woman is seen ordering for clothes.

Then she covers the purse of another client with the clothes.

When the incident was reported, the woman demands everyone in the business premises be searched. Ms Osinbajo alleged the woman stole N50,000 from the purse.

The vice president’s daughter also alleged the woman had also stolen from a store some months ago.

She advised business owners to be vigilant and ensure their staff are attentive.
