Woli Agba welcomes baby boy, recounts loss of child

Actor and comedian Ayo Ajewole popularly known as Woli Agba has announced the birth of his son.

The actor made the announcement in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Before making the announcement, Woli recalled the pain he went through after he lost his baby in January 2020. The 38-year-old said that he still performed on stage and made people laugh while grieving the loss of his child.

“Last year, I lost a baby but performed on stage like nothing happened. January 3, 2020 “hangout with Woliagba” has been registered to my heart as the day I was heart broken on stage, hid my sorrows, made my people laughed while I struggled with the news of a dead baby deep down me,” he wrote.

Expressing his excitement over the birth of his son, the comedian said that he is grateful to God for restoring joy and canceling the memory of his loss.

“This year, God has restored my Joy and cancelled the memory of my loss. I am so grateful to God. Congratulations to my family,” he added.

Fellow celebrities Fathia Williams, Iyabo Ojo, Opeyemi Ayieola, Adeniyi Johnson, Damola Olatunji congratulated the actor in the comment section of the post.

Woli married Olaife Ayo in April 2017. They have two children together.
