Singer Ayo Balogun aka Wizkid has postponed the anticipated Made in Lagos album world tour in Canada.

The Grammy winner made the announcement in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

He wrote: “Due to existing and public health measures being introduced by the Canadian Government, I will no longer be able to perform my Canadian shows in January. I’m looking forward to returning as soon as possible.”

In September 2021, the afro-pop singer announced that tickets for his Made In Lagos December tour at the O2 Arena in London sold out in two minutes.

This came after he bragged that his November tour sold out in 12 minutes.

According to the schedule, the rest of the tour was meant to take place in Canadian cities including Toronto, Ottawa, British Colombia, and others.

Meanwhile, the singer has bagged his fourth nomination for the 2022 NACCP Image Awards.
