Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II, has been filmed dancing the popular ‘Shaku Shaku’ moves to the excitement of his audience.
The monarch shared the dance floor with children during a New Year’s party held at his palace in Benin.
Oba Ewuare hosts children every year at his palace.
The monarch’s one-minute performance made the day for the children.
The famous traditional ruler, dressed in his customary white apparel, was accompanied by his aides in a video that has since gone viral as he dances while Skales’ ‘Shake Body’ plays in the background.
The event also featured dance competitions, presentation of chickens to the children among others.
