Uzodimma’s wife pays him first unscheduled visit

Imo First Lady Chioma Uzodimma

Imo State First Lady, Chioma Uzodimma, paid her husband, Hope Uzodimma, her first unscheduled visit on Friday, May 29.

Mrs Uzodimma said in a Twitter thread on Sunday that she did not just hug her husband but also “muttered some prayers into his ears”.

She wrote: “On Friday, May 29th, 2020, I paid a visit to my husband, @HE_HopeUzodimma in his office.

“This was my first unscheduled visit since his assumption of office as the Executive Governor of Imo State and particularly important to me for a number of reasons. One of which is the realisation that indeed, dreams come true.

“My husband, @HE_HopeUzodimma did not only nurse this ambition of becoming the Governor of Imo State, he shared passionate reasons with me about this dream.

“He has always desired an Imo where all can honestly thrive independent of social, financial or political drawbacks.”

The first lady said her husband had “changed the narratives” and also prayed that “God continues to lead and direct his leadership in Imo State.”

Uzodimma assumed position of governor through a January 14, 2020 judgement of the Supreme Court which removed Emeka Ihedioha as governor, seven months after being sworn in.
