Toyin Saraki congratulates Gambari on appointment as Buhari’s CoS

Wife of former Senate President, Toyin Saraki, has congratulated Prof. Ibrahim Gambari on his appointment as President Muhammadu Buhari’s chief of staff.

Gambari was unveiled as the new Chief of Staff of the President on Wednesday at the maiden virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Mrs Saraki wished him success in his new position in a tweet on Thursday.

“I congratulate Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari CFR on his appointment as Chief of Staff to His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR,” she wrote.

“I pray that Almighty God continues to guide his abundant wisdom, steps and contributions, and wish him every success. Amen.”

Gambari, 75, was minister for external affairs between 1984 and 1985 when Buhari’s was military head of state.

The professor of political science has earned recognition locally and abroad as an academic and diplomat.
