Founder of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu, has described the late former President Umaru Yar’Adua as a ‘great man’.
The country remembers Yar’Adua on his 10th death anniversary following his death on May 5, 2010.
Mr Elumelu hailed Yar’Adua early Tuesday while responding to a tweet by a former governor of Delta State, James Ibori.
“He was a great man! May his soul rest in peace 🙏🏾,” Elumelu wrote.
Yar’Adua returned to Abuja on February 24, 2010, after reportedly travelling to Saudi Arabia to get treated for Pericarditis in November 2009.
He died on May 5, 2010 and was buried in his hometown in Katsina the following day.
