Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has penned a lovely note to her son Andre on his fifth birthday.
The 35-year-old shared pictures of her son Instagram on Wednesday.
She prayed that his birthday brings him a bright future and good luck.
“Dear son, i closed my eyes for but a moment and suddenly a young man stood where a baby used to be. I may not be able to carry you now in my arms like i used to be. But i will always carry you in my heart, You have given me so many reasons to be proud of the man you’re becoming. But the proudest moments for me is when telling others that you’re my son.
“I love you now and forever! I wish you many many more happy returns of the day. May this birthday bring you a bright future and good luck in your life. I wish you my heartfelt wishes for your memorable birthday,” she wrote.
In another post she said, “My all time favorite man, I am glad you are mine and I ,yours. Its been an amazing smoothing Blessed 5years of learning together, growing Together, Partnering Together and loving together for us, and I appreciate each day.
“My prays for you are a lot but in all I pray you become the man God wants you to be. Grow In God great Grace my baby boy, literally I would give you the whole world.”
Tonto also praised herself for being a strong independent woman.
She wrote, “I am a very proud mom not because i have a child but because i singely handely financially, emotionally, academically and spiritually cartered/carter for him ,with absolutely zero help from any man born of a woman/ any woman born of a woman).
“And up till date still doing the kings stuff independently. For 5years it’s been my sweat and blood, my love and hugs, my wealth and gains.”
Andre is the son of Olakunle Churchill who has parted ways with his mother in 2017, two years after their wedding in 2015 over allegations of domestic abuse and extra-marital affairs.
Churchill is now married to another actress Rosy Meurer, who Tonto had accused of causing trouble in her marriage.
