Singer Tiwa Savage has remembered her father Olarenwaju Savage on his posthumous birthday.
In an Instagram story on Sunday night, the 42-year-old posted a photo of her and her dad.
She wrote: “Today is the first time you not being here on your birthday daddy. Happy birthday King. I love you and miss you. Keep resting in peace Savy t’eko.”
Tiwa announced the death of her father in an Instagram post in July 2021.
“Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition,” the Isale Eko, Lagos-born entertainer began.
“You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you these past couple of years but you are resting now.
“This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak.
“Rest In Perfect Peace my King.
“I love you daddy,” she added in her post.
The burial reception was attended by top celebrities like Rita Dominic, Tacha, Naira Marley, Eniola Badmus, Bobrisky and others.
