Timi Dakolo, Daddy Freeze fight dirty over divorce, tithe

Singer, Timi Dakolo, and radio presenter, Daddy Freeze, took the gloves off on Wednesday as they got into a bitter fight over divorce and tithe.

It started after the Idols West Africa winner took a swipe at people getting married in a post on Instagram.

Describing this generation as shallow and impatient, the 36-year-old advised people to come into marriage prepared and stop giving the institution a bad name.

That piece of sermon didn’t go down well with happily divorced Freeze, whose toxic marriage to Opeyemi was the subject of media scrutiny.

“So pastor Oyakhilome that got divorced is an incomplete person abi?” the Eminem of Nigerian social media began.

Narrating how a friend almost got killed and referencing his own marriage, Freeze wrote: “I am a living testimony that divorce from a bad situation is a HUGE BLESSING, as in baba blessing, my entire family and I rejoice every day, thanking God for the gift of divorce.”

So pastor Oyakhilome that got divorced is an incomplete person abi? – A friend of mine nearly had his dick cut off by his ex wife. Timi then betrayed an ill feeling he had had for Freeze and how he had “waited for a day like this like a child waiting for a new toy” particularly over his “shallow doctrine of not to pay tithe and how our offerings are going to the pastors pocket”.

In what looks like a dig at Freeze’s light skin, Timi, who is presently in California, posted a picture of him standing in the sun while some fair complexioned people are in the pool, writing “LA sun is not for the faint-hearted”.
