Former President Goodluck Jonathan has travelled out of the country, three days after he arrived from Cote d’Ivoire.

Jonathan landed at Heathrow Airport in London on Saturday in company of his aide, Reno Omokri, who announced the arrival on Twitter.

The former President returned to Nigeria on Wednesday to cheers by his supporters within and outside the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

There had been report that he had gone on exile in Cote d’Ivoire to avoid arrest over corruption allegation.

He denied the report, promising to return to Nigeria soon.

A promise he kept on Wednesday.

Jonathan met with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on Friday for what insiders believe is an attempt to find a lasting solution to the renewed militancy in the Niger Delta.
