The Johnsons stars bid tearful goodbye to Ada Ameh

Stars of the Africa Magic series The Johnsons have bid a tearful goodbye to their colleague Ada Ameh who played Emuakpor in the series.

Ada was buried in her hometown in Ogobia, Otukpo in Benue State in Friday.

A video from the burial ceremony was posted on the official Instagram account of The Johnsons family.

“Indeed it is finish. Neither entreaties nor supplications can suffice of a truth Emuakpor is no more. Rest in eternal peace Ada Ameh,” the caption read.

Reacting to the emotional video , some of the cast of the series including Charles Inojie who played Ada’s husband and Chinedu Ikedieze her son, dropped tearful words in comment section of the post.

Still in shock over Ada’s demise, Charles wrote: “So it’s truly a wrap for Ada Ameh.”

An emotional Chinedu wrote with crying emojis, “So this is true?”

Before the burial, The Johnsons cast held a night of tributes for Ada at the Amphi Theater Freedom Park, Marina, Lagos on Thursday, August 18.

Speaking at the event, Charles Inojie, said he still finds it difficult to talk about Ada Ameh in past tense since the news of her death broke. He added that words were not enough to qualify her.

Chinedu described Ada as “loving, kind, cheerful, funny and down to earth.”

Ada died on Sunday, July 17, two years after the death of her only daughter Ladi.
