A Kubwa Grade 1 Area Court in FCT on Thursday sentenced a‎ 19-year-old man, Muhammed Mustapha, to six months imprisonment for stealing a generator and fan from a church.

The prosecutor, Babajide Olanipekun, told the court that Pastor Tom Oyikpa of Kubwa, Abuja, reported the matter at the Kubwa Police Station on December 14, 2017.

He said Mustapha broke into Redeemed Christian Church, Byazhin, Kubwa, Abuja and stole ‎one generator valued at N35,000 and one Amplifier valued at N46,000.

Other items were one standing fan valued at N12,000, one speaker valued at N70,000 and two microphones valued at N31,000, totalling N194,000.
