Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tokunbo Idowu, popularly known as Tboss, has apologised to pop singer, Davido, for criticising him over the treatment of two young women who were arrested for accusing him wrongly of getting one of them pregnant.

Tboss had responded to a video of the girls’ arrest on October 29 showing them in handcuffs, saying that it was not in Davido’s place to arrest anybody.

Davido, in reply, described her as a low-budget version of media personality, Toke Makinwa.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, however, Tboss, 35, wrote: “I made a mistake last week. I wasn’t properly informed about the whole situation. Apparently I was only fed a distorted version of the story thereby making a misinformed conclusion and for that I sincerely apologise.

“I apologise to those who were involved as it came off as if I was taking shots at you which I promise wasn’t the case at all. Once again, I was wrong and I am sorry.”

Davido last Wednesday confirmed the release of the girls.

He posted a video on Instagram of the ladies swimming.

The ladies had made the allegation in a video that went viral on October 23.

They, however, dismissed their act as a joke after Davido threatened to send them to jail.
