The 31-year-old socialite’s statement of defiance comes after she came under attack for recently telling young women between 20 and 25 years of age to let loose and have fun.

In the controversial 60 seconds video, Toke advised ladies to live life on the edge, kiss strangers, have one night stands, pierce multiple parts on their body and get tattoos even though she said she didn’t do half of what she advised.

A Twitter debate erupted after the release of the video, with people either brutally criticising her or coming to her defence.

Controversial social media personalities, Kemi Olunloyo and Daddy Freeze, also weighed in on the matter.

In an open letter, Kemi confessed she understood what Toke was trying to say but still implored her to take down the video.

Freeze also expressed his support for the 31-year-old.

He posted a letter of his own, telling the host of the Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 that “Most people do not have the cognitive depth to assimilate the message you were trying to pass across and have employed their fertile imagination to fuel it into becoming what it has evolved into”.
