Super Eagles star, Ahmed Musa, marries second wife

Ahmed Musa marries Juliet Ejue

His debut Premier League season ended without a silverware, but Super Eagles star, Ahmed Musa, has bagged himself a new wife in Juliet Ejue.

The Leicester City forward exchanged vows with his lover at an Abuja Court on Tuesday, signalling the end of his marriage to Jamila the mother of his two children.

Among those present at the ceremony was Kannywood actor, Ali Nuhu.

Pictures of the newly married couple have since gone viral on the internet.

Qed.ng recalls that the 24-year-old was questioned by Leicestershire Police in April over allegation that he physically abused Jamila whom he married under traditional law.

He was, however, released without charge, after which it emerged that he was in a relationship with another woman identified as Juliet.

A Leicester City statement said: “The inquiry has since been closed and no further action is to be taken”.

With critics calling for his head over his private life, the former CSKA Moscow footballer took to Instagram in April, asking “Who are you to judge the life I live?”

The Super Eagles Star did enjoy the best of times in his maiden season in England as he failed to meet expectations having been signed by the Foxes for £16.6 million in July.

He hasn’t featured for the dethroned Premier League champions since the 4-2 defeat to Everton on April 9, and had just four goals to his name in 30 appearances this closing season.

There are speculations that he could leave the King Power this summer, as the club look to offload a number of players in a bid to fund new signings, with an immediate return to CSKA Moscow a possibility.

He is, however, on Coach Gernot Rohr’s invitation to the national team for the friendly games against Corsica and Togo as he is in the roster of 25 players invited for the double-header in France.
