Super Eagles player Victor Boniface’s grandmother chants his name at stadium in Germany

Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has shared a video of his grandmother chanting his name at Bay Arena, home of Bayer Leverkusen.

Boniface scored a 79th-minute goal to snatch a draw against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga on Sunday, December 3, keeping his team at the summit of the table on 35 points, three ahead of Bayern Munich.

Boniface shared the video of his grandmother on Instagram on Monday.

The 22-year-old’s grandmother also met the team’s captain Granit Xhaka.

Boniface’s goal helped maintain Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten record this season.

The former Bodo/Glimt star moved to Germany in the summer after leaving the Belgian side, Union SG.
