Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface flies grandma to Germany after World Cup qualifiers

Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has taken his grandmother with him to Germany to watch him play for his club Bayer Leverkusen.

The 22-year-old shared photos of his grandma on an airplane with him on Instagram Story on Monday night.

“Mama. Germany way,” he captioned his post.

The former Bodo/Glimt star moved to Germany in the summer after leaving the Belgian side, Union SG.

He has scored 11 goals coupled with six assists in 16 games in all competitions for the German side.

Boniface was among 23 players invited for Nigeria’s recent 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

The Super Eagles could not get a win in both games, ending the matches 1-1.
