Sosoliso plane crash survivor and singer, Kechi Okwuchi, has undergone surgery.

In a post to Instagram on Tuesday, the 29-year-old revealed that the surgery she had was a co2 laser surgery.

Co2 laser surgery is a treatment to reduce facial wrinkles and skin irregularities, such as blemishes or acne scars.

She said it’s the second of three rounds of non-invasive surgery but promised friends and fans that she will be back on her feet in a few days.

Kechi was one of the two survivors in the Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 crash on December 10, 2005, that claimed 107 lives, 60 of which were her schoolmates from College.

She got third-degree burns.

Kechi was air-lifted to Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa for immediate medical attention and treatment, and later to Shriners Hospitals in Galveston, Texas, United States where she has undergone over a hundred reconstructive surgeries.
