Actress Sola Sobowale has received a doctorate in philosophy from ESTAM University in Benin Republic.
The 58-year-old announced the good news in an Instagram post on Saturday where she posted photos of herself and others at the ceremony.
Captioning the photos, she wrote: “Welcome to new dispensation. Sola Sobowale is now a doctor. Thank you ESTAM University for this honour.”
Fellow celebrities like Rita Dominic, Shan George, Juliana Olayode, Regina Askia, Femi Branch, Bimpe Akintunde and Lilian Bach congratulated her in the comment section of the post.
In August 2022, Sola’s colleagues Ireti Doyle and Bob Manuel Udokwu got a doctorate in arts and culture from the Institut Supérieur de Communication et de Geston (ISCG University) in Benin Republic.
