Businesswoman and socialite Bola Shagaya has lost her mother Saadat Abdulraheem.
In a statement, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq commiserated with her and the Bakini family of Ilorin on the death of their mother.
The statement was issued on Sunday by the governor’s chief press secretary Rafiu Ajakaye.
The governor said that the family should take solace in the exemplary life lived by their mother as a true servant of God.
“Our heartfelt condolences go to Hajia Bola Shagaya, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Abdulraheem and the entire Bakini family of Ilorin emirate.
“We pray Allah, exalted is He, to grant Alhaja Al-jannah Firdaus and comfort the entire family,” he said.
Editor of Ovation Magazine Mike Effiong also condoled with Shagaya.
He said in an Instagram post on Sunday, “We commiserate with our very dear sister, top business mogul, HAJIA BOLA SHAGAYA on the passing of her sweet mother, Alhaja Saadat Abdulraheem. May Almighty Allah grant her Al-Jannah Firduas and comfort the entire family.”
