Singer Trevboi wanted over killing

The Lagos State Police Command has commenced investigation into the alleged killing of a man at a nightclub by singer Trevboi, a former associate of Afrobeats singer Davido.

Trevboi was named in the fatal shooting of an individual identified as Kenny at Bar 38 in the Fadeyi area of Lagos on Saturday.

A friend of the deceased with username Cloud Target took to his Twitter page to declare Trevboi wanted after the reported shooting.

Tagging the Twitter handle of the Lagos police public relations officer Benjamin Hundeyin, the poster alleged that Trevboi was armed and dangerous.

Reacting to the development, Mr. Hundeyin said investigation into the incident had commenced.

The police spokesman added that the suspect abandoned his car and fled on foot.

“We commenced investigation minutes after the incident happened. The suspect abandoned his car and fled on foot. The car and the documents in it are in our custody. Investigation is ongoing,” Hundeyin wrote on Twitter.

Trevboi featured Davido in the 2020 remix of his song titled ‘Who Dey.’
