Simi made this known via her Instagram page while answering questions from her fans.

When asked by a fan if she was happy about Naira’s arrest, she simply said: “No.”

On Monday, Justice I.N. Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos ordered the remand of musician, Naira Marley, in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The singer, born Azeez Fashola, will be in the custody of the anti-graft agency till the hearing of his bail application on May 30.

Naira Marley, who is standing trial on 11 counts of fraud and cybercrime, pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to him.

In April, Naira Marley asked musician, Simi, why she was looking sad and upset when he saw her at a concert.

This came few days after he had said that cybercrime was not a crime.

Simi had previously asked cybercrime perpetrators not to purchase her music, saying that they were giving Nigeria a bad image internationally.
