Pop singer, Simi, has called out a Nigerian minister, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, for a message where he criticized ladies for having premarital sex.
The 30-year-old musician made her opinion about the issue known in the comment section of the pastor’s post.
Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo’s message said that the reason men aren’t eager to get married is that they are getting sexual satisfaction outside marriage.
He explained that young ladies are allowing themselves to be used to enjoy pre-marital sex.
Simi replied him saying that it was wrong to place the blame of pre-marital sex on females, urging him to be careful with his words because of his position as a pastor.
Simi tied the knot with long-time sweetheart, Adekunle Gold, on January 9 in a private traditional ceremony in Lagos.
The lovebirds had their white wedding at the popular Ilashe beach along the Badagry creek.
The couple honeymooned at the Temple Bay Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa.
