X3M Music act, Simi, has announced the release date of her second album titled Simisola.

The 29-year-old made the announcement in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Simisola will be released on September 8.

It comes 11 years after the Covenant University graduate of mass communication released her debut album called Ogaju.

Fans of the Manchester United devotee will be glad at the news of her new album after having had their appetite whetted with many hit singles.

Preceding the album are singles like ‘Tiff’, ‘E No Go Funny’, ‘Jamb Question’, ‘Love Don’t Care’ and ‘Smile for Me’.

She has also worked with Falz on the song, ‘Soldier’ and the collaborative EP, Chemistry.

Another act she has been involved with – professionally and romantically – is Adekunle Gold, whose Gold album she is credited to have mixed and mastered.

Signed to Steve Babaeko’s X3M Music following the release of her Restless EP in January 2014, Simi admits that working on her debut album has been exhausting.
