Senator Ibrahim Shekarau (APC/Kano Central) has lost his five-month-old daughter.
The former Kano State governor’s daughter died on Monday in Dubai and has been buried according to Islamic rites, Shekarau’s spokesman Sule Yau Sule said in a statement.
“On a sad note, we wish to announce the death of the youngest daughter of His Excellency, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, a five-month-old baby who died today.
“She was already buried in Dubai where she was hospitalized,” the statement read.
