Senator Shehu Sani on Thursday mocked US President Donald Trump over his call to stop vote count.
Mr Trump had tweeted “STOP THE COUNT!” following his growing frustration over the direction of the election which appears to favour his opponent Joe Biden.
In reaction to Trump’s tweet, Sani posted the image of Count von Count a mysterious but friendly vampire Muppet from the children’s TV show Sesame Street.
The vampire is known by the alias The Count.
The Trump campaign and its allies have begun filing lawsuits around the country to stop the count following allegations of fraud and infractions.
But elections officials in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania have pressed on as Biden seeks a few more electoral votes to hit the 270 mark required to be president.
