Actress Sharon Ooja has shared photos from her baby shower following the birth of her first child.
Last week, Sharon announced the arrival of her baby boy with her husband Ugo Nwoke. In an Instagram post accompanied by maternity photos, Sharon said she had always dreamed of becoming a mother and thanked family and friends for helping them keep the journey private.
On Monday evening, the movie star posted photos from the baby shower, describing it as an intimate gathering held at home in Los Angeles with family members, in laws and close friends.
She wrote, “My baby shower was everything I prayed for and more.
An intimate day at home surrounded by family, my in-laws, and some of our close friends here in LA… even a few who flew in.
It was truly all love, beautiful food, laughter, prayers, and endless showers of blessings over our baby boy.
“This child has already been such a blessing to us, and my heart is still so full thinking about that day.
I have sooo much to share with you guys, but for now, enjoy a few baby shower pictures out of the 800+ that Will took.
I really lost weight everywhere during pregnancy.
I was literally ALL belly.
Now, when I look at how big my baby is, I’m just like… sir.
How were you actually inside my stomach?!”.
Since announcing the birth of her son, Sharon has continued sharing photos and clips from her pregnancy journey on social media.
Sharon announced her civil wedding in March 2024 with a video shared on Instagram. Three months later, she held her traditional wedding in Abuja in the presence of family, friends and colleagues before a white wedding ceremony that drew attention online over its decoration and wedding cake.
