Afrobeat star, Seun Kuti, has attacked bloggers for digging up old Yahoo boys comment and making it appear like he said it recently.

The 36-year-old musician made the attack in an Instagram post on Friday.

“When bloggers who don’t support me continue to try to bring me down and they keep failing but they are never tired, what’s the motivation behind this bad blood people? Can’t u tell ur political masters you are tired?

“Every position I take is taken out of context to make it seem like I am talking down to people and not talking for them, while they make those talking down to people seem like those talking for them,” he wrote in parts.

That’s how I am looking at Naija Bloggers and youth right now. When bloggers who don’t support me continue to try to bring me down and they keep failing but they are never tired, what’s the motivation behind this bad blood people? Can’t u tell ur political masters you are tired? Every position I take is taken out of context to make it seem like I am talking down to people and not talking for them, while they make those talking down to people seem like those talking for them. I have posted sold out shows this week nice videos even today I posted that I am the voice of the Champion of PAKU in the World of Warcraft latest release, one of the worlds biggest game franchise, crickets. I wrote a post over a year ago, I repeat over a year ago, based on a national issue at the time where I was showing similarities between yahoo boys and bank mds, suddenly this post is reappearing in the middle of two sides throwing tantrums and making it seem like I am taking sides, they even put an 8hr ago time stamp on it. That is just sinister. If you can love American gangsters and model your life after them, why are u surprised there are Nigerian gangsters? The only thing I will tell young people is that don’t use your money to become an oppressor, use it to build a dream and please don’t let it be the same dreams u had in High school, grow up on the inside to young black people. Find your own story, connect to your identity we all have work to do we are coming from the same place and we know our enemies. #getthesax

Earlier in April, Seun Kuti said that SARS brutality continues because Nigerians believe it is a normal occurrence.

He explained this in an interview with Sahara Reporters.

“If you think there is a problem with SARS then there is a problem with you. SARS is doing what they are paid to do, they are doing exactly what they are ordered to do. You don’t understand the attitude and psychology behind our behaviour but we all want to cry, the victim. SARS is the manifestation of our own acceptance of our dehumanization,” he said.
