Segun Arinze-led AVOA partners Surulere LG to train young voiceover talents

President of Association of Voice Over Artists (AVOA) Segun Arinze has announced the organisation’s partnership with Sulaiman Yusuf, chairman of Surulere local government to train young talents for free.

This is contained in a recent statement sent to media partner QEDNG.

The three-day master class programme tagged ‘Voice Fest’ will be held from April 24 to 26 and will feature voice training in English, Yoruba and pidgin English.

Special guests of honour include lawmaker and Nollywood practitioner Desmond Elliot, and director general Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) Dr. Lekan Fadolapo.

The statement not read: “As part of our drive to impact and build capacity as well encourage budding Voice Over talents, The Association of Voice Over Artistes AVOA Nigeria are partnering with Surulere Local Government led by its amiable Executive Chairman Alh. Bamidele Yusuf Sulaiman to train young talents for free. The 3-day Masterclass and empowerment programme is tagged VOICEFEST a voice workshop series organised by AVOA Nigeria will hold from 24th – 26th April at the Auditorium inside the Surulere local Government New Complex.

“The President of AVOA Mr Segun Arinze says the Masterclass is very timely as young and talented voice-over Artistes are yearning for training like this. He also said the training is free as the Surulere Local Government chairman wants to bring it to the grassroots.

“The Masterclass will be in English, Yoruba and Pidgin English. The DG of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria ARCON Dr Lekan Fadolapo has also endorsed the training saying that it will surely help young talents. Hon Desmond Elliot will also be attending and some advertising gurus.”
