Say no to drugs, Zinoleesky preaches after NDLEA ordeal

Music artiste Zinoleesky has finally spoken after his ordeal with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

In a video uploaded on Instagram on Monday, the singer promised to support the NDLEA in their investigation following his arrest and other Naira Marley’s associates.

He also preached against using drugs in the video.

He said: “Hi everyone I want to thank my family and fans for their support following the incident that happened last week.

“There was a distress call in which the NDLEA responded, unfortunately, the issue escalated but from now on me (sic) and my team will be fully cooperative with the NDLEA so they can finish their investigations. Say no to drugs.”

NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi had confirmed that the singer and others were brought in for questioning on Thursday, February 25 over suspicion of drug possession.

He said: “We raided their apartment based on information that they had drugs, and indeed, we recovered cannabis and molly from their home and car. Six persons were arrested in all. Two females and four males.”
