Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has paid an unscheduled visit to the General Hospital in Marina, Lagos Island.
Mr Sanwo-Olu, tweeting on Monday said he paid the hospital an unscheduled visit to “see and have a first-hand appraisal of the state of the facility.”

He said the health sector remained important to his administration.
The governor added that he ensured the bills of patients in the emergency unit were taken care of.
“I paid an unscheduled visit to the General Hospital, Marina to see and have a first-hand appraisal of the state of the facility,” Sanwo-Olu said.

“The health sector is without a doubt very important to us. I went on ward rounds to assess the quality of service in various departments.
“It is equally very important that the patients are getting the best care possible and I ensured the bills of the emergency patients were taken care of. I also assured the personnel of government’s continued support.”
