Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has hosted the Consul General of the US Consulate in Lagos, Claire Pierangelo, at his Lagos office.
Mrs Pierangelo was accompanied to the meeting by her team.

A tweet by the Lagos State Government on Wednesday said Mr Sanwo-Olu discussed with the Consul General the need to promote US interests in Lagos in a mutually beneficial way.
“@jidesanwoolu today discussed the need to promote US interests in Lagos in a way that is mutually beneficial when he received Mrs. Claire Pierangelo, Consul General of the US Consulate in Lagos at Alausa, Ikeja,” the tweet said.

Sanwo-Olu was elected on March 9 and sworn in as the 15th governor of the state on May 29.
