Sam Larry, Naira Marley donate food items to orphanage after regaining freedom

Lagos socialite Sam Larry and music artiste Naira Marley on Tuesday paid a visit to an orphanage to donate food items weeks after they were released from police custody.

Sam was arrested in October alongside the Marlian boss following allegations of their involvement in the death of Marley’s former signee Mohbad.

They were released on bail in November after spending over five weeks in detention.

The Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, on Monday, November 6, ordered the duo to submit their international passports as part of their bail conditions.

The duo were also summoned by the House of Representatives over the royalties of Mohbad.

During the debate on the matter at the plenary session on September 26, the lawmakers expressed their commitment to ensuring proper compensation and royalties for Mohbad’s musical works.

The lawmakers also pledged to monitor the ongoing investigation into his death and the royalties accruing to him.

In a now-viral video, Marley was seen in the company of Sam Larry and one of his signees Zinoleesky.

They were all smiles as they visited an orphanage in Lagos, with items like noodles, biscuits and bags of rice.

Another video of the trio having a conversation outside the streets was uploaded on Zinoleesky’s fan page.

Mohbad died at the age of 27 under unclear circumstances on Thursday, September 12.
