Pop singer, Runtown, has apologised to former record label boss, Okwudili Umenyiora, also known as Dilly.

Born Douglas Jack Agu, Runtown has been locked in legal battle with Eric Many Entertainment since 2017 over differing claims ranging from royalty to revenue sharing.

He joined the label in 2014 after the success of his hit single, ‘Gallardo.’

In a tweet on Tuesday, Runtown apologised for the things he said in anger against Dilly, adding that he never meant what he said.

Runtown had in January acknowledged congratulatory messages from fans and well-wishers after news broke that he won the case filed against him in March 2018 by Eric Many.

The company, however, claimed that the Mad Over You singer misled the public into thinking he claimed a victory over the record label.

Runtown now has his own label called Soundgod Music Group.
