Ruger makes joke about Kizz Daniel’s arrest on arrival in Tanzania

Singer Ruger has made a joke about his colleague Kizz Daniel’s arrest in Tanzania.

The 23-year-old who announced his arrival in Tanzania for a concert in a Twitter post on Wednesday, joked about not forgetting his bags like Kizz Daniel claimed after he was arrested for failing to perform at a concert in the country.

The singer born Michael Adebayo Olayinka wrote: “TANZANIA !!!! I’m here and i didn’t forget my bags . See you October 1st.”

Kizz Daniel made headlines in August after he was taken into custody for failing to perform at the paid concert.

At a press conference , the 28-year-old apologised to his fans for his absence at the concert, and promised a free show after two days.

He said in parts, “The fans were already going wild which I know was out of love but I was advised to stay back, it wasn’t safe, it’s no disrespect to the fans. This Friday, a free show, by the way, I will be partnering with Straight Up Vibes to make that happen. I must apologize to the fans. None of this was intentional.”

However, in an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, the show promoter Stephen Uwa claimed “Daniel said he would not be performing because the airline did not bring his bag containing his gold chain.”
