Actor Richard Mofe Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has finally met his lookalike fan Nebs Jay at the latter’s 50th birthday party.
Jay became known to the public after one of his dance videos went viral on the internet. Many were quick to spot out the facial similarities between Jay and RMD. Some also speculated that they were brothers.
Jay, a businessman, however, dismissed the rumour, saying that he is not related to the actor by blood. He admitted to being a fan of the 61-year-old actor who in turn acknowledged him.
On Sunday, RMD posted a video from the birthday party on Instagram, expressing his excitement over meeting Jay and his family.
Captioning the post, he wrote: “Finally got the privilege to meet my internet twin and his family yesterday for his birthday. But the star of the night was his 5 year old daughter Daniella.”
“A second RMD is a counterfeit. Continuing to shine sir,” the celebrant replied in the comment section of the post.
