Revealed: Igbonla students played football in kidnappers’ den

The six kidnapped students of Igbonla Model College, Epe, Lagos regularly played football while in captivity, Qed.ng has learned.

A source with information about the rescue operation disclosed this late on Friday in response to a question about the jerseys the boys wore after their release.

“They were not hurt by the evil boys. They played football regularly,” the source who pleaded anonymity told this news medium.

Abducted on May 25 on their school premises, the boys spent 65 days with their abductors before their rescue on Friday.

They wore replica jerseys of Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal football clubs upon their release.
