Rema joins Anitta, Lisa on FIFA World Cup song ‘GOALS’

Singer Rema is set to feature on a new FIFA World Cup song titled ‘GOALS’ alongside Brazilian star Anitta and BLACKPINK member Lisa.

The collaboration is scheduled for release on Thursday, with excitement already building online after FIFA shared a teaser of the music video on its official social media pages.

The snippet gave fans a first look at the visuals and international feel of the song, which is expected to form part of the music campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The release adds to Rema’s growing international profile, coming shortly after FIFA confirmed him among the headline performers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony alongside Anitta and Lisa.

FIFA announced earlier this month that Rema would perform at the Los Angeles opening ceremony alongside a lineup that includes Katy Perry, Future, Tyla, Anitta and Lisa. The event is one of three opening ceremonies planned across the United States, Canada and Mexico for the expanded 48 team tournament.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.

The latest announcement comes days after Burna Boy teamed up with Colombian singer Shakira for ‘Dai Dai,’ the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The song was released on May 15 as part of FIFA’s music campaign for the tournament.

‘Dai Dai’ marks Burna Boy’s first appearance on an official FIFA World Cup song, following Davido’s appearance on ‘Hayya Hayya (Better Together)’ for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
