Regina Daniels’ husband celebrates winning PDP senatorial ticket

Ned Nwoko, the husband of actress Regina Daniels, has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial ticket for Delta North district ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Excited over his latest achievement, the politician splashed over N10 million on his staff to celebrate his win.

Nwoko’s wife Regina announced this in an Instagram post on Monday, May 23.

She wrote: “Hubby is so grateful and happy. He just gave more than 100 of his staff 100k each.”

While congratulating Ned Nwoko on winning the PDP ticket, Regina pointed out that her husband has never been a lover of politics but she was able to convince him to run for office because of his love and dreams for his country.

The 21-year-old wrote: “I can’t explain the joy I feel right now!! The race to senate starts with the PDP primary election and it is with so much joy that I announce our victory!!!

“You have never been a lover of politics and I’m glad to have been one of those that convinced you to do this because I know what you stand for, your love and your dreams for your country. Anioma will feel your impact Delta state will feel your impact. Nigeria will feel your impact My dear senator.”

Fellow celebrities like Halima Abubakar, Uche Elendu, Nancy Iheme, Queen Nwokoma and Ibiwari Etuk congratulated the couple in the comment section of the post.

Regina and Ned have a son together.
