Reactions as Sanwo-Olu teases ‘bad guy’ Jim Iyke

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu commended Nollywood actor Jim Iyke for his movie heroics when the pair met on Friday, September 10.

Jim was at the Lagos State Government House in Alausa, Ikeja with DJ Cuppy and actress Jumoke Odetola and some youths for the launch of Lagos Sustainable Development Goals Youth Alliance.

The governor’s reaction when he saw Jim, after exchanging pleasantries with everyone, has been the topic of discussion on social media.

Jim became famous for playing the romantic ‘bad boy’ roles in Nollywood. On rare occasions, he played the hero in action movies.

On sighting the much-loved actor, Sanwo-Olu said, “This bad guy, all his movies, somebody must die and the person will wake up again.”

His comment threw all in the room into laughter.

Jim was recently in the news for physically attacking his colleague Uche Maduagwu who called him a “fraudster” and “ritualist”.
